Justin Bieber revealed the meaning of his rose tattoo and how his wife, Hailey, gave him an ultimatum to not get any more neck tattoos, in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. But the singer appeared a little confused regarding the tattoo's positioning.

Appearing on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Bieber shared his Thanksgiving experience amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as, revealed the story behind his rose neck tattoo. The interview was uploaded on TheEllenShow YouTube channel Tuesday.

During the interview, the show host expressed her admiration for the Canadian singer's rose tattoo and asked him about its meaning.

"Well, the rose, is kind of like, I guess to be honest, I made up a meaning because really I just like the way it looks," the "Holy" singer. "But it's kind of like finding the beauty within kind of like the roughness."

While saying this, the "Yummy" singer could be seen brushing the left side of his neck. The people in the studio, including Bieber and DeGeneres, laughed when they realized that Bieber was pointing to the wrong tattoo.

"It's on the other side," DeGeneres said. "You don't even know where your tattoo is."

Bieber added that his wife, Hailey, didn't want any more tattoos on his neck.

"No more neck tattoos, that's what Hailey says," the "Lonely" singer added.

When Bieber first decided to get the rose tattoo, the 24-year-old supermodel advised her husband to wait for a month to make sure that he absolutely wanted it.

The meaning behind Bieber's rose tattoo was previously revealed in an episode of his YouTube series "Justin Bieber: Seasons." The thorns symbolized the rough spots of his life, while the flower represented beauty.

Bieber also posted a video of him getting inked on his official Instagram account on Sept. 8.

Bieber further mentioned that he liked expressing himself through art; hence, the tattoos. He got his first tattoo when he was 16 and to date, the phenomenal star has over 60 inks all over his body, J-14 reported.
