Justin Bieber has fired back at the two women accusing him of sexual assault by taking legal action against them.

On Thursday (June 25), the “Sorry” singer filed a $20 million defamation lawsuit over anonymous tweets accusing him of sexual assault. Hailey Baldwin’s husband argued that the claims were fabricated to grab attention.

Bieber also presented evidence to prove that he was not in the area where the women, identified as Danielle and Kadi, claimed the sexual misconduct happened.

“The malicious statements made by 'Danielle' and 'Kadi' (who may be the same person under two accounts) are absolutely false, and their respective heinous accusations that Bieber engaged in the alleged sexual assaults are outrageous, fabricated lies,” Bieber’s lawyer, Martin Singer, wrote in the complaint obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

“It is abundantly clear that these two individuals are trying to capitalize on the climate of fear permeating the entertainment industry, Hollywood and corporate America, whereby it is open season for anyone to make any claim (no matter how vile, unsupported, and provably false) about anyone without consequence,” he continued.

Prior to taking legal action, Bieber responded to the allegations made by the two women on June 20 via social media. Danielle accused the singer of sexually assaulting her at the Four Seasons hotel in Austin in March 2014, while Kadi claimed Bieber did the same to her in a New York City hotel room in May 2015.

“Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly. I wanted to speak out right away but out of respect to so many victims who deal with these issues daily I wanted to make sure I gathered the facts before I made any statement,” he wrote on Twitter in response to their allegations.

In another tweet, the “Yummy” singer directly denied the accusations, writing, “There is no truth to this story. In fact as I will soon show I was never present at that location.”

Bieber shared a series of tweets with photos showing his Airbnb reservation on that day to support his claim that he was not at the Four Seasons. He also said that he was with his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez at the time.

He ended his posts by warning the women that he plans to take legal action against them.

“However this story is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Baldwin seemed unbothered by the allegations against her husband. In fact, she went yachting with her BFF Bella Hadid in Sardinia, Italy on Tuesday. The two were photographed enjoying the beach in their skimpy bikinis.
