Justin Bieber almost broke the Internet when he revealed that he had gotten yet another tattoo, this time on his face. The pop star’s latest ink — a cross located near the corner of his left eye — is tiny but holds a big meaning for him.

Bieber debuted the ink Saturday posting a selfie with the caption, “Resting up for the show in Philly it’s gonna be a good one mark my words.” Bieber didn’t address his tattoo in his Instagram post, but fans quickly spotted it.

Celebrity tattoo artist Jonathan “JonBoy” Valena explained to E! Online that Bieber stopped by his New York City shop, West 4 Tattoo, Friday to get the religious ink done. “It was a representation of his faith in Jesus and his journey with finding purpose in God,” Valena said.

According to Us Weekly, one of Bieber’s good friends also got the same tattoo done on his face.

Bieber, 22, is no stranger to tattoos. He has over 50 of them, some of which are religious. In addition to the tiny cross on his face, the pop star has a giant cross on his chest and a portrait of Jesus Christ on his leg. In recent years, Bieber has been open about his journey towards developing a stronger relationship with God.

According to the Mirror, the pop star explained in a January interview that he decided to stop his wild partying and behavior because of his newfound faith.

“I am not going to go into detail of what I was doing and where I was at,” he said. “But I was pretty lost and woke up one day and felt like God was telling me something. I’m not super religious or anything but I just heard a voice and was like, ‘You know what? I’m going to change my life around. I’m going to switch up some things and put some stuff together.’”
