Members of the BTS ARMY may have noticed that pictures of the group posing with fans are hard to come by. This may seem a bit unusual as the members have been swarmed during performances, but are they allowed to actually take intentional pictures with admirers?

According to Showbiz Cheatsheet, the K-pop group is managed by BigHit Entertainment. Even with all of their success, it is said that being under their direction comes with some strict rules and safety precautions that they are expected to follow. This has led some BTS devotees to speculate as to whether or not the members are allowed to take photographs with fans at all.

During meet and greet events the boys have been in pictures with supporters, but those are relatively rare. However, other fans of the "Boy With Luv" group suggest that the reason they don't have very many photos simply is that they don't go out in public that often.

"The only time I've seen them take pictures with their fans (correct me if I'm wrong) is when they were on 'American Hustle Life' while working on 'Boy In Luv' LA Version," stated one fan when considering the cause of the lack of photographs.

Others believe that South Korean idols refrain from getting too close or hugging fans as to stop the potential spread of any dating rumors.

Additionally, another commenter said, "Taking pictures with fans can cause jealousy among many other fans and international fans. These fans could end up getting hate and spark false rumors which could affect the idols' images," according to WhatEven. The site also said that companies like to keep their "idols' privacy and personal space" protected.

While the specific reason remains unknown, it does appear that the BTS members, for whatever reason, may not be allowed to take photographs with their ARMY. Perhaps, in time, the true reason will be brought to light.
