Aside from earning millions of dollars, BTS, the successful K-Pop group, has accomplished quite a bit for themselves in a relatively short amount of time. During this period, the "Boy With Luv" singers have also broken several pop culture records, according to GMA. Here, we'll take a look at five.

1. They tied with The Beatles

BTS' latest album, "Map of the Soul: Persona," helped the group become the first since The Beatles to have three albums reach the number one spot in America in less than a year's time. According to Billboard, the members of the band hit this goal when "Love Yourself: Tear," "Love Yourself: Answer," and "Persona" all reached that spot in just under 11 months time.

2. BTS ARMY has continued to dominate Twitter

Due to the band's intense number of Twitter interactions they were able to break a Guinness World Record for most Twitter engagements based on average retweets this year. In April 2019, the @BTW_twt account had tallied 422,228 engagements, which bested Harry Styles and his fanbase.

3. They kicked off GMA's 2019 Summer Concert Series

Although the morning news program has hosted quite a few South Korean groups, including BLACKPINK, BTS was the first to perform twice on the show. Additionally, they were the first to be included in the 2019 Summer Concert Series.

4. They greatly impacted radio

Their latest single with Halsey, "Boy With Luv," obviously made an impact with fans and music lovers around the country, as it became their biggest radio hit to date. Billboard also reports that they hit a new high on the Pop Songs Airplay chart, which signifies that radio listeners have definitely warmed up to the South Korean band.

5. They broke a record on YouTube, which they still hold

BTS' music video for "Boy With Luv" hit a staggering 74.6m views in a 24 hour period on the platform, which beat out former frontrunner Taylor Swift with her "ME!" video, which stars Panic! At The Disco's Brandon Urie and reached 65.2m. Aside from the view counts reached by Swift and BTS, other notable achievements in this category have been Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next" video (55.4m) and BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" (56.7m).
