Kate Middleton is showing signs that she’s the next royal matriarch and not Camilla Parker Bowles.

The Duchess of Cambridge is taking a bigger role. On Wednesday, Middleton made a solo outing by visiting Anna Freud Centre's new Centre of Excellence in London without Prince William.

Body language expert Judi James noticed that something’s different with the duchess. She said that Middleton has found her “grit and determination.” However, aside from this, she sees the royal mom of three taking a more active role than the Duchess of Cornwall, hinting that Middleton could be the “new matriarch.”

“Kate also seems to be developing a strong sense of individual branding with her styling at more formal royal events too, with a rather retro look that harks back to the royal style of the 50s and before,” James wrote.

“This emergence hints that – with the Queen celebrating her 93 birthday and Camilla showing no signs of taking a more active role – Kate could be emerging as the new matriarch on the block.”

Middleton will inherit Princess Diana’s title when Prince Charles becomes the new king and Prince William the heir apparent. However, the title will not be automatically given to her.

Prince Charles still has to grant the title to Prince William as a “personal honor.” When Prince William becomes the new Prince of Wales, only then will Middleton become the Princess of Wales. That is the only way Middleton will become a princess.

In related news, according to a natal chart reader, Prince William and Middleton’s relationship worsened after Princess Charlotte’s arrival. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s marriage was reportedly on the rocks even before their only daughter was born because the second-in-line to the throne was keeping secrets after Prince George’s arrival.

The reader added that the love between Prince William and Middleton has been lost or is headed that way unless the circumstances change, but things will still look good to the public and probably will for a few more years.
