Kate Middleton and Carole Middleton are mother-daughter goals.

The Duchess of Cambridge is very close to her family, especially to her mom. Hello! compiled photos of Prince William’s wife and mother-in-law that showcase their close bond.

In 2019, Carole joined Prince William, Middleton, Princess Charlotte and Prince George at King’s Cup Regatta. The mother and daughter were photographed together but it was Princess Charlotte who stole the show.

The little princess was spotted making faces which amused the crowd. It turned out that Princess Charlotte made the gesture because she saw her grandfather, Michael, in the crowd. While the majority loved Princess Charlotte’s bubbly side, an expert said that Carole didn’t like it.

“It allows the child to be a little bit shocking but also funny at the same time and that in turn can make them feel a bit more grown-up. Kate’s reaction is hilarious here and probably totally appropriate for the moment, although Grandma Carole looks as though she might be thinking of nipping this playful naughtiness in the bud,” body language expert Judi James told Fabulous Digital.

Middleton and Carole were also photographed together at Royal Ascot 2017. Middleton was stunning in her white lace dress designed by Alexander McQueen. Meanwhile, Carole looked chic in a dove blue outfit with a matching hat.

In Christmas Day 2016, Carole and Middleton were also spotted attending a church service for Christmas in Bucklebury. Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined the family and Carole was beaming proudly as her granddaughter Princess Charlotte, only 1 year old at the time, made her way down the steps while holding Middleton’s mom and a candy cane on the other hand.

In related news, according to royal biographer Katie Nicholl, Carole gave up her career for her family. In the book “Kate: The Future Queen,” the author detailed how Carole had always wanted to be a mother. Shortly after she learned that she was expecting her first baby, she decided to quit her career.

“Although she loved her career, she knew that globe-trotting, working shifts, and spending days and nights abroad were not conducive to raising a family. So it was with some sadness that she gave up work, as she had dreamed of being a flight attendant since she was a schoolgirl,” Nicholl wrote.
