Kate Middleton has been dubbed as the people’s Queen by royal fans.

This week, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in public to visit the Sunshine House Children and Young People’s Health and Development Center. The outing was part of the mom of three’s research and engagement with the Early Years sector.

Kensington Palace shared details from Middleton’s outing and said that Prince William’s wife met the team at Sunshine House whose work helps support young mothers. Shortly after her outing, Middleton was praised by royal fans.

“She is so lovely - a true representative of the monarchy,” one person tweeted. “Perfect Duchess. Wonderful mother. A strong advocate for children. When your husband becomes King, it will be our pleasure to call you Queen,” another fan commented.

“A lovely lady fit to be Queen. I’d love to meet her and William… A people’s King and Queen,” one fan posted.

Middleton and Prince William are already preparing for their future roles as Queen and King, respectively. Royal fans are also looking forward to the day when they will take over the British monarchy.

But some critics couldn’t help but say that Middleton is not a very confident Duchess. But this may change once she becomes Queen.

On the online forum site Quora, one royal fan said that Prince William’s wife is oftentimes seen touching her hair and licking her lips. These gestures suggest that she’s not very confident and comfortable when she’s out in public.

Another royal fan said that Middleton seems to have a real battle with nerves when she’s speaking to crowds in public. “ When first married to Will, she spent her first year with no public speaking at all, due to intense nerves. This is perfectly understandable when such hasn’t been required before,” the royal fans said.

The royal also said that Middleton is relaxed when she is around people. This may be because she’s a mom herself.
