Prince William are the royal family’s “golden couple.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been praised for their teamwork. According to Lady Anne Glenconner, Princess Margaret’s lady-in-waiting, the future king and queen consort are “perfect.” She continued saying that Prince William and Middleton are “absolutely splendid” together and added that they were a “golden couple.”

Lady Anne also shared how much Prince William and Middleton love Mustique. Last summer, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought their kids to the Caribbean island with Middleton’s parents.

“They said how much they enjoyed Mustique because its so private. We've got turtles now and evidently George and Charlotte loved it,” Lady Anne said.

“Nobody bothers them. They’re so used to the royal family there that nobody takes a blind bit of notice.”

In their recent vacation in Mustique, Prince William and Middleton stayed at Villa Antilles for two weeks which costs $33,000 villa per week. The summer holiday vacation where the royals stayed was a five-bedroom luxury pad with a kids’ room fitted with two bunk beds. It also included a chef, butler, housekeeper and a private garden.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte reportedly loved the bunk beds. It has child-friendly facilities too. Since the villa is fully staffed, the royals can ask whatever they want, whenever they want.

The villa’s ad described the place as “an exceptional new contemporary colonial style villa set in the Endeavour Hills, with a captivating outlook to Bequia and St Vincent beyond.” It was built in 2016 and is owned by Prince William’s longtime friend Andrew Dunn.

Prince William and Middleton’s favorite holiday destination was involved in a royal scandal. Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones’ marriage had a tumultuous turn when Queen Elizabeth II’s younger sister was photographed in Mustique with a much younger man than herself.

Princess Margaret who was 44 years old at the time was spotted with 27-year-old Roddy Llewellyn on the island. Their photos “sent the press into a frenzy” when they resurfaced in 1976. Llewellyn was deemed “highly unsuitable” and their photographs were considered “fairly dramatic.“
