Kate Middleton has found a way to avoid being at the center of attention and stealing the bride's spotlight when attending weddings.

The Duchess of Cambridge is among the most photographed persons today. Everyone is usually looking forward to seeing her outfit whenever she attends events. But Middleton is careful not to outshine the brides whenever she attends weddings.

Last weekend, Middleton, Prince William and their kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, stepped out together to attend Sophie Carter and Robert Snuggs' wedding at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Norfolk. For the event, Middleton wore a blue Catherine Walker dress to match the wedding theme.

Middleton reportedly wore a recycled outfit in order to avoid upstaging the bride. According to Latifa Yedroudj, a journalist for Express, Middleton was first seen in the ensemble back in July 2017.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchanged "I do's" in May, the Duchess of Cambridge made an epic royal rewear too. Middleton stepped out in an off-white bespoke Alexander McQueen coat dress.

According to People, the outfit is among Middleton's favorites. She was seen wearing it in 2015 for Princess Charlotte's christening. Prince William's wife wore it again in 2016 for Queen Elizabeth II's official birthday celebration in Trooping the Colour.

For Princess Eugenie's upcoming royal wedding, Middleton will likely avoid wearing a new ensemble and upstaging the bride again. If she does wear a new outfit, she will likely choose one that carries her signature ladylike style without making a statement.

"Kate is known for her demure, ladylike style. Never one to veer towards loud prints or looks that sit on the line of what’s appropriate and what's not, Kate will no doubt be impeccably dressed for Eugenie’s nuptials on the 12th of October, without making too much of a statement and risking detracting from the bride," Madaleine Lee of The Telegraph wrote.

For the next royal wedding, Middleton might opt for clothing from her favorite designers like Alexander McQueen,L.K. Bennett or Jenny Packham.

In related news, Middleton is reportedly not as popular as her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, because of the difference in their personalities. According to Alexandra Shulman, the Duchess of Cambridge didn't embrace the spotlight the way the Princess of Wales did.

"Diana was more interested in that high-voltage celebrity, that was something she really embraced. One of the things I've learned in this job is how much celebrity is a decision," Shulman said. "The Duchess of Cambridge is prepared to do her bit, but it's not one of the things that she most cares about."
