Katie Maloney clapped back at body shamers and trolls after sharing a New Year's Eve photo with husband Tom Schwartz.

"Goodbye 2021. You brought some pretty amazing things into my life," the "Vanderpump Rules" star, 34, wrote via Instagram Saturday alongside a snap of her cuddling up with her husband. "Some amazing new little lives, who I love so dearly. Some really difficult moments and triumphs! Feeling really hopeful. Love you all!"

Maloney appeared to be referring to her friends Stassi Schroeder, Brittany Cartwright, Scheana Shay and Lala Kent, all of whom welcomed kids in the past year. However, some fans thought that she might be hinting at plans to expand her own family.

"Pregnancy announcement?" one Instagram user commented on Maloney's post, to which another follower replied, "I think she might be announcing [the news] soon because she looks pregnant. Even her stance. Maybe it's me hoping but so excited if so!"

However, Maloney quickly shut down the pregnancy rumors by commenting, "Literally no. Stop."

One troll referenced the "Vanderpump Rules" star's past abortion, which she opened up about during Season 9 of the Bravo series last year. "She does not deserve a baby after what she did to her first one," the person wrote.

Maloney clapped back, "Have the day you deserve."

Fans and followers of Maloney also came to her defense.

"Anyone assuming she's pregnant when she did not say she's pregnant, shame on you. Especially with the struggles they've had. What if she's NOT pregnant? Think about what you are saying and how that would make her feel," one commented.

"Oh goodness. If she was pregnant, she would say so. Imagine reading all these comments if you were her and not pregnant or having difficulty getting pregnant," another wrote.

Maloney and Schwartz, who wed in 2016, documented their visits to the fertility clinic on "Vanderpump Rules" and revealed during an October 2021 episode that they decided to have an abortion early in their relationship as their future together was "uncertain" at the time.

Maloney also opened up about her fertility journey during a November appearance on the "Reality Life" podcast, where she explained how her traumatic accident that happened nearly a decade ago has impacted their road to conception.

Maloney fell 25 feet through a skylight and suffered broken bones, a broken jaw, and a brain injury. She said she had gotten an abortion about one year after her accident.

"When it came to Tom and I wanting to open up about our fertility, we had to start at the beginning. And even now, when we've tried to get pregnant, I haven't wanted to shame myself or be like, 'Is it because I did this 10 years ago?' I don't want to punish myself," she was quoted as saying by People.

When asked by host Kate Casey if she would've been a "present parent" at the time she had gotten pregnant, Maloney responded, "I think that's what a lot of people are missing in this whole discussion."

The reality star explained that abortion is "not always about a financial position, it's also about mental health as well," adding, "People are not mentally capable and mentally stable enough to have children."
