Kelly Clarkson won't settle with her ex Brandon Blackstock amid their nasty divorce battle.

Clarkson, 39, and the talent manager, 45, are still finalizing their divorce, following their split over a year ago. The "Stronger" singer filed for divorce on June 4, 2020, citing "irreconcilable differences."

An unnamed source told Us Weekly that the "Kelly Clarkson Show" host is determined to fight her ex in court and doesn't want him to get a single penny.

"She is devoting 100 percent of any free time she has preparing for the trial," the insider said. "When not filming her talk show, she is hunkered down with [attorney] Laura Wasser."

The insider continued, "She will not even entertain the idea of settling with Brandon. He will not get one penny from her that isn't ordered by the judge. It's going to be nasty."

The "Breakaway" hitmaker was declared legally single in September 2021. However, they are still hammering the details of their split.

Among the things that the exes couldn't agree on was the embattled Montana ranch. The "American Idol" winner wanted to get rid of the property because it was costly to maintain. However, he argued against it because he wanted to be a full-time rancher and claimed that he needed the ranch for his business.

In August 2021, the judge denied Clarkson's request to sell the property and ruled that Blackstock should cover the monthly cost of the maintenance of the ranch, which runs upwards of $81,000. If he failed to keep up with the payments, Clarkson would be allowed to sell it.

In August, the judge ruled that the prenup that they signed was valid, deeming the "Since U Been Gone" singer as the sole owner of the ranch because she was the one who purchased it. Clarkson's estranged husband initially contested the prenup and wanted to split the properties and income she earned while they were married. However, she had trouble evicting him from the ranch.

"Kelly recently had a major legal setback in a bid to get Brandon evicted from the Montana property that the judge awarded solely to her," an unnamed source exclusively told Us Weekly in December. "He has been living in it and said he doesn't have the financial means to afford to purchase a residence of his own at this time, citing the unresolved financial aspect of their divorce."

During a virtual hearing in November, Blackstock refused to vacate the property despite the split, and the judge sided with him and ruled in his favor, the tipster said.

Last week, new court documents obtained by People revealed that Clarkson agreed to give her ex 5.12% of the ranch, which was equivalent to $908,800 of its total $17,750,000 value.

Blackstock and Clarkson share two children, daughter River Rose, 7, and son Remington Alexander, 5.
