Kim Kardashian said that she will be working with celebrity trainer, Tracy Anderson, to stay in shape during her pregnancy.

Well-known diet programs Jenny Craig and Medifast had announced that they did not wish to work with the reality star on losing her post-baby weight, and she detailed on her blog on Thursday that Anderson has already developed a plan that she will be following throughout her pregnancy.

“Tracy Anderson is keeping me in shape! She is helping me make the adjustments necessary to keep me feeling happy, healthy and most importantly create a workout plan that is safe for the baby,” Kardashian wrote.

“It’s really important for me to have a fitness routine that works for my body and my schedule and I’m really happy with the workout plan Tracy is working with me on. Xo.”

Anderson is known for having worked with such celebrities as Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow, according to the Daily Mail.

Kardashian’s sister, Kourtney, also followed Anderson’s workout plan in conjunction with maintaining portion control to help her lose 44 pounds following her second pregnancy with daughter, Penelope, she said in the latest issue of Us Weekly.

Anderson is now promoting a nine-DVD series for women called the "Pregnancy Project."

She experienced a backlash last year for comments she made about pregnancy in DuJour magazine.

“A lot of women use pregnancy as an excuse to let their bodies go, and that’s the worst thing,” she told the magazine.

According to the Daily Mail, Anderson later appeared on Good Morning America to clarify her statement, saying she was referring to her own struggle to lose weight following her first pregnancy.

“Pregnancy is difficult and every pregnancy is completely unique. We crave a lot,” she told Good Morning America.

“I think in today's society where we have all of this pressure to look a certain way, I feel like they turn to diet a lot because that's what works for them because fitness routines usually let them down."

She added, “So when they do get pregnant it's like ‘Oh my gosh!’ It's not just like, ‘I'm going to let my body go for this pregnancy’ It's also, ‘I can eat all the things that I never let myself eat.’

“I see people that come to me after pregnancy and they didn't need to necessarily gain that much weight.”

There is no word on whether Kardashian was paid for her blog post endorsing Anderson; however, the Daily Mail noted that the celebrity trainer stands to benefit greatly by association with the reality star.
