The next episode of the E! docuseries “I Am Cait” could be the most explosive one yet. After rumors swirled that transgender activist Caitlyn Jenner met with her ex-wife, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kris Jenner, their emotional meeting will be televised on the show Sunday.

After stepdaughters Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West confronted Caitlyn about her interview with Vanity Fair, where she slammed Kris, the Kardashian momager met with the budding star, a sneak peek clip of the episode reveals.

"You're sensitive and amazing to all these new people in your life, you're just not so sensitive and amazing to the family that you left behind," Kris says to Caitlyn in the clip.

But Caitlyn dismisses her ex. "I try to do everything I can to be nice, reach out; you have to see it from my perspective," she says. "Be an ally when it comes to dealing with the kids."

That’s when Kris begins to cry. "When you feel like you gave your whole life to somebody and the sum of it all was you were a distraction,” she says.

"Don't go there," Caitlyn says. "I was defending myself. It was a distraction from the sense of who I was. That doesn't mean I didn't love you or the kids."

Ratings for the series have been lower than expected, and it might be the famous momager who can save the show from being canceled, Radar Online wrote Monday. “Kris has been telling producers at E! that if she had been involved with ‘I Am Cait’ from the beginning, it would have been a hit,” an insider said.

To ensure the series gets a second season, it reportedly will air after “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” But Caitlyn isn’t thrilled about it. “Caitlyn isn’t happy that once again, she will be dependent on the Kardashians for success, and she absolutely hates losing to Kris,” the source said.

To see the episode in its entirety, which will also show Caitlyn accepting her ESPY award and attending the New York City Gay Pride Parade with new gal pal Candis Cayne, check out “I Am Cait” on E! Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT.
