Malik Beasley publicly apologized to his estranged wife Montana Yao for his affair with Larsa Pippen while they were still married, but his gesture caused Yao and Pippen to engage in a heated exchange of words on social media.

Beasley shared a family photo on Instagram Sunday. He accompanied it with a lengthy caption saying he is taking responsibility for his and Yao’s split.

"I wana say sorry for putting you in the situation you were put in the last few months.. my head wasn’t were it was supposed to be.. I was looking for more when it was right here that whole time," he wrote.

Beasley said it was him who ended his last relationship because there’s no one like Yao. He was with Pippen following their split. He also denied that he set up the pictures of him and Pippen holding hands in the mall and called it "childish."

"I ain’t looking to be judged I’m looking for forgiveness.. To forgive me for hurting my family the way I did. At the end of the day I’m a lover boy and I miss holding y’all and loving y’all.. I love you mu shi .. I love you kai Kai [red heart emoji] my family over thing," he concluded his post.

Yao quickly addressed her estranged husband's apology in an Instagram Story. She said that she and her son "appreciate Malik's apology." She said it was a "step forward in healing" and she hoped that her family can "all move forward away from the anger and hurt to be able to raise [Makai] with love, respect and happiness on both sides."

She also made several posts directed at Pippen who claimed earlier that she only went out with Beasley because she thought they were already separated.

"Now you got me hot and I'm not holding back no more," Yao wrote. "I been already told you to shut your trap because you embarrassed yourself enough already. Both of you were wrong as hell but YOU ma'am had the nerve to talk all that s--t to me as if I was wrong?"

Yao accused Pippen of calling paparazzi ahead of time to take pictures of her dates. She also alleged that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star trapped Beasley by visiting fertility clinics and trying to have a baby with him. Yao went on and criticized Pippen as a mother.

"You barely even spend time with the kids and you want more? You're embarrassing and woman to woman you should probably tap out now cause you really going out bad," she continued.

"All those fillers and surgery can't fix that insecure soul. Go work on yourself, read a book, something to better your life while you still have time."

Pippen clapped back at Yao and corrected the "misinformation you shared as facts." She said Beasley is not the type of man she wants around.

Pippen said Beasley cried too much and was cheap. She added Yao was probably aware of it because she didn't have alimony.

She also told Yao "woman to woman" that Malik was a "clout chaser who pursued me relentlessly before I even knew you existed." Pippen went on and invited Yao to subscribe to her OnlyFans account to know the truth.

"Sending peace and blessings to you both," she concluded her post.

Yao made another post on her Instagram Story addressing each of Pippen's claims. She said that she took the issue to social media because "this is your favorite place" and it "only felt right to address where you love to be."

Yao mocked Pippen for saying she saw how Beasley treated them, but she wanted to have a child with him. She also said it was funny to hear Pippen mentioning clout and the press when she's "the girl that can't let go of her husband last name cause that's the only clout you've got to live on."

Yao concluded her post by telling Pippen to shut up and focus on her OnlyFans career. "Wish you nothing but the best in your new career pursuit! Get that bread up!" she added.
