Lea Michele, who is attempting to deal with the death of her boyfriend, Cory Monteith, due to a drug overdose, reportedly paid a heartbreaking visit to the hotel where he was found dead, just three days after news of Monteith’s death broke.

A source told Radar Online that Michele visited the memorial that was set up for Monteith outside the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel, but she did not venture out of her car.

“I saw Lea about an hour after the family saw the body at the hospital. There were two huge SUVs out front, and Lea was in the backseat of one, sitting between two bodyguards. She was wearing her signature huge black shades,” Rik Feydick, an eyewitness, told Radar Online. “Lea never got out of the vehicle.”

Michele has been with Monteith’s family since his death, and she is said to be a huge source of support to Monteith’s mother. According to a TMZ report, Michele has eased the pressure off oMonteith’s mother by taking up the responsibility of planning a memorial service for Monteith.

"Since Cory's passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them. They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together," Michele’s representative said in a statement cited by the New York Daily News.

The actress is set to return to “Glee” some time in early August and reprise her role as Rachel Berry. It is yet to be revealed how show creators would take “Glee” forward after the death of Monteith, who was one of the lead characters on the show.

“Producers are wrapping their heads around all aspects of how to move the show forward and will respect Lea’s wishes in their hopes to make the show as special moving forward as it was in the past,” a source told HollywoodLife. “They are family, and they will all get through it together. Being together on the show should actually be a godsend,” the source added.
