At least 10 people sustained injuries Thursday night after shots were fired outside a Miami restaurant, where rapper French Montana was reportedly making a music video.

Witnesses at the scene said the shooting occurred around 8 p.m. ET.

Miami Gardens Police Detective Diana Gourgue said they responded to the scene after receiving a ShotSpotter call at The Licking restaurant on Northwest 27th Street, NBC6 reported.

The shooting outside the restaurant was a culmination of an altercation that had begun at a different location, the police confirmed. However, the official number of those injured and their conditions were unknown.

"We had a total of 10 [victims]. Four brought themselves to the hospital, and we've treated six transported," a first responder said in radio transmissions, WSVN reported.

"We're still working [the scene]. Yeah, there's multiple shots, there's multiple cases," Gorgue told WSVN. "We're still working. We can't confirm any numbers at this moment, because everything is still fresh, and they're still investigating."

An unverified video circulating on Twitter showed several people lying on the ground.

The police have yet to specify if someone shot into the crowd or whether there was an exchange of gunfire.

Rapper CED Mogul shared a video with NBC6, which he claimed was recorded on the site of the music video shoot, prior to the incident.

Mogul said the shoot was scheduled to be at a nearby KFC, but a production worker was robbed of his keys, watch, and wallet.

"[He asked to] call his mother and see if we can get spare car keys and make sure, you know, he's OK, and then the gunshots went off," said Mogul, "at least 13, 14, 15 gunshots. It was very rapid, it sounded like an assault rifle."

As seen in the video, French Montana and 24-year-old rapper Rob49 are in the backseat of the car. Witnesses and Mogul say Rob49 was shot during the incident.

Social media was also abuzz with claims that French Montana's bodyguard was shot at, and was fighting for his life. However, the police have yet to confirm this information.

As of 1 a.m. ET there were no arrests made, and no deaths were reported, the Miami Herald reported. One of the shooting victims was in critical condition, a police source said.
