Lindsay Lohan was in the midst of trying to get sober, apparently, when her ultra-private "sex list" was released to the world. Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars were on that list, including “Sexiest Man Alive” and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. The “Voice” coach has finally addressed the rumor and wants everyone to know he and the “Mean Girls” star did not perform the naked tango.

It’s been months since the list was revealed, but during an appearance on the “Howard Stern Show,” the infamous DJ confronted the “She Will Be Loved” crooner about the alleged affair. “By the way, you were listed on Lindsay Lohan’s sex list, that you had sex with her,” Stern said, according to Radar Online. “I didn’t know this …”

“That’s not true,” Levine said. “I did not have sexual intercourse with Lindsay Lohan …”

Stern pressed the issue, either because he didn’t believe him or just wanted to make for a better show, and brought up James Franco, who was also on the list and denied any such encounter. Stern also brought up that no one on the list has confessed to having sex with the troubled actress.

“That’s because I think we’re being truthful about that very specific thing,” Levine said. “I can f*cking see it on the paper, I’m getting much better at this!”

Stern asked, “Did anybody have sex with Lindsay Lohan?” to which Levine replied, “A lot of people probably did, I don’t know.”

Lohan’s list contained 36 names, including the late Heath Ledger, Zac Efron, Justin Timberlake, Colin Farrell, Joaquin Phoenix, Garrett Hedlund, “50 Shades of Grey” star Jamie Dornan, Wilmer Valderrama, Ashton Kutcher, Benicio Del Toro, “American Horror Story” star Evan Peters, The Wanted singer Max George, Ryan Philippe and “Inception” star Lukas Haas.

Franco even wrote a short story about the apparent lie, where he described how "a girl” wanted to have sex with him, but he decided to read her a bedtime story instead.
