Elon Musk showed off a twinning moment with one of his sons on social media.

On Monday, the 51-year-old billionaire posted on Twitter a throwback photo of him and his son X AE A-XII sporting matching haircuts, with their heads shaved on the sides similar to characters in the TV show "Vikings."

"Thanksgiving last year after watching one too many episodes of 'Vikings,'" Musk captioned the snap, which showed him and the toddler in an outdoor setting.

When one follower asked if Musk was the one responsible for their haircuts, the Tesla CEO responded, "Yeah."

Another follower shared a childhood photo of the SpaceX founder, alongside a snap of son X AE A-XII, with the caption: "Elon, you looked the same."

But Musk isn't the only one practicing his hairdressing skills on little X. Last year, the toddler's mom and the billionaire's ex, Grimes, also cut their son's hair into a similar mohawk style.

The 34-year-old musician posted a snap via her Instagram Story in January 2021 of her son's first ever haircut, with the caption, "Not sure this haircut went well, but he’s Viking now."

Grimes also shared a photo of her cutting her son's hair while he's playing with toys in a bathtub and confirmed that the cut was inspired by the historical British TV series "The Last Kingdom."

Grimes, born Claire Boucher, and Musk made their debut as a couple at the 2018 Met Gala and announced in January 2020 that they were expecting their first child together.

They welcomed X AE A-XII four months later. They initially named him “X Æ A-12 Musk” but had to change it because California law did not permit special characters and numbers in names.

“My partner is the one that, actually, mostly, came up with the name,” Musk said of the name choice, according to Page Six. “Yeah, she’s great at names.”

In September 2021, the two officially ended their relationship due to long distance and conflicting work schedules.

“It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in L.A.,” Musk told Page Six at the time.

Despite the breakup, Grimes and Musk welcomed their second child together, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, in December 2021 via surrogate.

Musk has 10 children in total, including his two kids with Grimes. In July, it was revealed that he welcomed twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, 36, in November 2021.

He also shares five living kids with his first wife, Canadian author Justine Musk, 49: 18-year-old twins Griffin and Vivian and 16-year-old triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian.

The former couple also had a son who was born in 2002 but died at 10 weeks old of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). They named him Nevada.
