Luke Perry, 52, passed away on Monday, but he is still set to grace the big screen this summer in his last Hollywood movie project.

Prior the actor’s death, he was still working on The CW’s “Riverdale,” which is currently on its third season and has been renewed for a fourth run. In the coming months, the Archie Comics-inspired series will be airing the final episodes featuring Perry as Fred Andrews. However, it won’t be the last project where Perry could be seen by his fans.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum is actually part of Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood,” a film that is set to hit U.S. theaters this summer.

In the movie, Perry portrays a character named Scott Lancer. His casting was announced last June alongside co-stars Damian Lewis and Dakota Fanning, according to PopCulure.com.

Tarantino’s movie boasts of an assemblage of big names including Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino and Kurt Russell. Timothy Olyphant, Emile Hirsch, Michael Madsen and Lena Dunham are also starring.

Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that the project has already wrapped. This means Perry and his co-stars have completed their work for the movie, which is now scheduled to release on July 26, 2019.

Perry reportedly suffered a stroke last Wednesday. Paramedics rushed to his home and earlier reports about the actor stated that he was still conscious. However, his condition deteriorated quickly that doctors decided to sedate him.

Perry’s spokesperson confirmed the actor’s passing in a statement released on Monday, saying: “Actor Luke Perry, 52, passed away today after suffering a massive stroke. He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends.”

The spokesperson added that the actor’s family deeply appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers from fans and that they also ask for privacy at this time of great mourning.

Moments after the announcement, production on “Riverdale” Season 3 was shut down, according to The Wrap. The move was made to give Perry’s co-stars time to grieve.

Show executive producers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Jon Goldwater have since issued a statement alongside the Warner Bros. Television studio and The CW on the actor’s passing.

“We are deeply saddened to learn today about the passing of Luke Perry. A beloved member of the ‘Riverdale,’ Warner Bros. and CW family, Luke was everything you would hope he would be: an incredibly caring, consummate professional with a giant heart, and a true friend to all,” they said in the statement.
