Madison Square Garden says five of its locations have been hit by a data breach.

Criminals tapped into the card readers at merchandise and concessions stands at Knicks and Rangers Games, Madison Square Garden and other events at Radio City Music Hall between Nov. 9, 2015 and Oct. 24 of this year, the company wrote in a statement. The information compromised includes credit card numbers, cardholder names and expiration dates - everything needed to create a replica card.

“MSG recognizes the importance of protecting customer data and deeply regrets any inconvenience this incident may have caused its customers,” the company said.

The breach did not affect Ticketmaster purchases or payments that have been made on Madison Square Garden’s website.

The company did not say how many cards were affected, but the issue has been resolved, “and customers can use their cards with confidence at MSG venues.”

“MSG has stopped this incident, and we continue to work with the computer security firms to further strengthen the security of our systems to help prevent this from happening again. We have also been providing information to law enforcement regarding this matter,” the company said.
