In the video, Wahlberg and Accelerate CEO David Parry shared how they worked together to come up with their donation. The "Patriots Day" actor also acknowledged the frontliners and thanked them for their hard work amid the global health crisis.

"To show our support, my company Performance Inspired bionutrition has partnered with Accelerate360 and LifeToGo to donate 1.3 million disposable masks to schools across our great country. Every day brings a new challenge but we continue to pray for you and for your families and please know your efforts are much appreciated. God bless you, stay safe. Meanwhile, Parry spoke about the challenges brought about by the pandemic especially on the essential workers on the frontlines who are working at the hospitals, schools and stores. "We appreciate everything you do to educate our youth. Please stay safe and healthy,” he said in a statement addressed to the teachers.

LifeToGo and Performance Inspired identified the schools in need and sent 3-ply masks to various institutions in Chicago, Cincinnati and San Antonio, as well as in Bentonville, Arizona; Boise, Idaho; Chicago; Cincinnati; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Lakeland, Florida; Minneapolis; Portland, Oregon; Quincy, Massachusetts; Rochester, New York; Salisbury, North Carolina; and Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Us Weekly reported.
