“Married at First Sight” couples are always doing things a little backwards. After going on their honeymoons, moving in together and figuring out their finances, the Lifetime reality show will follow the newlyweds as they get to know each other’s friends and family in Season 7, episode 7. However, the clip from Tuesday’s episode reveals not everyone is eager to meet these people.

Amber Martorana and Dave Flaherty chat about their friends in a “Married at First Sight” sneak-peek video exclusive to International Business Times (seen above). Dave says he had fun hanging out with Amber’s pals recently, and he suggests doing something with his best friends next. Amber is a little unnerved.

“I’m a little nervous,” she admits in the clip. “I hope that they like me. I hope I’m not really shy when I get there because sometimes I am when I’m meeting new people.”

It seems Amber is concerned about what her new husband’s friends will think about her. “It might be hard,” she adds. “People judge, everyone judges. I do feel like I’ve been judged a lot, so it kind of makes me feel a little worried.”

Dave assures her that his guys are great, and they’ve all married cool women. He thinks she’ll get along well with their wives.

“It sounds great being involved with the wives, but it’s just, I have my own friends already. So I don’t feel like I need other friends,” Amber says.

It seems a little aggressive to straight up say she doesn’t need new friends, but Amber’s insecurities are probably pretty typical for people on the Lifetime show. Going on “Married at First Sight” is definitely something that people who meet her will probably judge, but if these people already love Dave, they have hopefully accepted his choice. Will Amber warm up once she meets his friends?

Not only will the couples catch up with their friends and family in “MAFS” Season 7, episode 7, but they’ll also spend time with each other. After Tristan Thompson and Mia Bally were missing from the honeymoon, the other couples will have plenty of questions for them.

“Married at First Sight” Season 7, episode 7 airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
