Matt Lauer is not out to get revenge against NBC after the network fired him over sexual harassment allegations. The journalist, who was let go from his longtime position as an anchor on the “Today” show, has taken a step back from his time in the spotlight to focus on his family.

Since his departure, Lauer has been at the center of divorce rumors with his wife Annette Roque, and most recently, a tabloid alleged the journalist was in the process of inking a $12 million tell-all book deal.

However, Gossip Cop shut down allegations the 60-year-old was plotting to expose all of the behind the scenes drama that happens on the set of the “Today” show.

In the article published by In Touch, the tabloid states Lauer is looking to get revenge against those he believes are responsible for his termination.

“Matt will name powerful men he knows, some famous, who did the same thing he did,” a “source” told the publication.

The cover of the magazine also alleges the disgraced anchor plans of revealing “dirty secrets” such as, “Love children! Nude selfies! Ann Curry bombshell!”

“He will expose people. He knows all their dirty secrets. Everyone was sleeping with each other,” the “insider” claimed.

“He’ll also write about his colleagues — Katie [Couric], Savannah [Guthrie], Hoda [Kotb], Al [Roker], Ann [Curry] — and be honest about the ones who stood by him and the ones who didn’t.”

The “source” went on to allege Megyn Kelly will “get her own chapter, for sure.”

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop has debunked rumors of a tell-all by revealing Lauer’s exit agreement with NBC News came with several terms, which included a non-disparagement clause.

The media outlet alleges the stipulations would more than likely limit what he could discuss in a book and publication of any inside information could lead to a legal nightmare for the journalist.

Although Lauer has been laying low and attempting to move forward with his life and career, writing a tell-all book about NBC is not something that is going to happen in the near future.
