The Mega Millions jackpot has grown following the Tuesday night lottery drawing, which did not yield a winner for the $207 million grand prize with a cash option of $118.8 million. However, several smaller monetary prizes resulted from the latest drawing.

The winning numbers drawn on Tuesday, June 7, were 4, 34, 40, 41, and 53, with a gold Mega Ball of 3. The Megaplier was 4X.

Since the latest Mega Millions grand prize had no winner, the jackpot will grow to $226 million with a cash value of $129.8 million. The next jackpot drawing will take place on Friday, June 10.

Following the Tuesday night drawing, there were no instant millionaires. Players who would have hit the Match 5 would have won $1 million each. However, players who would have matched five numbers using a Megaplier purchase would have taken home $4 million apiece.

There were 16 players who hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball and won $10,000 each. Meanwhile, only one player hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball with the Megaplier, winning $40,000.

The rest of the Mega Millions wins from the night ranged between $2 and $2,000.

The latest jackpot comes after a Powerball player in Michigan claimed a $150,000 winning ticket from the May 14 drawing.

Mohamed Salem won a third-tier prize by hitting the Match 4 and the red Powerball with a Power Play purchase. “I just kept getting this feeling in my gut that I should buy a Powerball ticket,” Salem said.

“I had the feeling a couple of times throughout the day and then again just before the drawing. I logged into my Lottery account on my phone and bought a ticket about five minutes before sales ended for the drawing that night.”

Salem didn’t learn about his big win until days after the drawing. “I was going through some old emails and saw one from the Lottery that said I needed to log in to claim a prize. When I logged in to my account and saw I had won a $150,000 prize, I was stunned,” he said

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
