The Mega Millions lottery drawing on Tuesday didn’t have any winners for the $247 million jackpot, which means the jackpot will continue to grow.

The winning numbers pulled on Tuesday, June 14, were 30, 37, 38, 42, 58, with a gold Mega Ball of 22. The Megaplier was 2X.

The Tuesday night jackpot was worth an estimated $247 million with a cash option of $137.2 million. The Mega Millions jackpot will grow to an estimated $273 million with a cash value of $151.7 million.

The next Mega Millions lottery drawing will be held on Friday, June 17, at 11 p.m. ET.

On Tuesday, none of the players were able to hit the Match 5, which would have resulted in a $1 million prize. Ticket holders who would have matched five numbers with the Megaplier would have won $2 million apiece.

There were a total of five players who hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball that won $10,000 each. However, there were no winners for the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball with the 2X Megaplier, which would have resulted in a $20,000 prize. The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $2 and $1,000.

The latest Mega Millions drawing comes after a player in California, who hit the $426 million jackpot in January, came forward and claimed their prize.

Kristine Wellenstein purchased the lucky ticket at a Chevron gas station in Woodland Hills, a suburb of Los Angeles.

After getting over the initial shock, Wellenstein put together a team to help her manage her finances and carry out her goals.

“I want to give back and support local and global-based initiatives, and my team is in place to help achieve those objectives,” she explained. “The real impact of my life’s work begins now.”

Jackpot winners can receive their grand prize winnings through either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
