Megan Thee Stallion had a message for her haters as she hit the stage at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night. She made her stage debut at the awards show held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas after being named the top female rap artist earlier in the evening.

Donning a black bodysuit, the 27-year-old performed her latest single, “Plan B,” which she previewed during the opening weekend of the Coachella Music Festival. As blazes emerged in her wake during the explosive BBMAs performance, Megan Thee Stallion described the track as “very mother***ing personal” and dedicated it “to whom it may the f*** concern.”

The rapper wrote “Plan B” for an ex. Part of the song says, “popping Plan Bs cuz I ain’t plan to be stuck with ‘cha’ and d*ck don’t run me, I run d*ck.” The song also echoes the sentiments of rappers like Queen Latifah and Lil’ Kim, with lines saying, “Ladies, love yourself ‘cause this sh*t could get ugly, that’s why it’s f**k n****s, get money.”

Megan Thee Stallion first teased “Plan B” on social media in April. It samples Jodeci’s 1995 hit “Freak’n You” featuring Raekwon and Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan and debuted in the Top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Aside from “Plan B,” she also punched in a thunderous performance of “Sweetest Pie,” her collaborative record with Dua Lipa. As she segued into the song, Megan called on her army of dancers and drew reactions from the audience, especially Doja Cat, who rapped along with the “Hot Girl Summer” singer. She then switched up the tempo of “Plan B” to the fast-paced tune of “Sweetest Pie.”

Megan Thee Stallion won the Top Rap Female Artist at this year’s BBMAs. She took home the same award at the BBMAs in 2021.

This year’s BBMAs was hosted and executive produced by Diddy, who performed and made some funny moments during the ceremony. Aside from him and Megan Thee Stallion, other performers included Ed Sheeran, Silk Sonic, Miranda Lambert, Florence + The Machine, Machine Gun Kelly, Rauw Alejandro, Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, and more.
