Meghan Markle has charted her own path, yet again. This time she's taking charge in deciding who will manage her future career by choosing a Hollywood based agent, lawyer, and attorney.

The Duchess of Sussex has apparently been working with agent Nick Collins, who works for her former talent agency The Gersch Company, as well as business manager Andrew Meyer and attorney Rick Genow. An insider revealed to The Sun that Collins acts as the middle man between the former "Suits" actress and companies wanting to work with her.

“He filters the deals and passes them on to Meghan,” the source said.

The current word on the street is that the Hollywood team are negotiating Markle's very first children's book. The 38-year-old, who welcomed now 4-month-old Archie Harrison into the world earlier this year, is said to have already finished the book, and while that should be exciting news, a royal insider shared that the team's "role in ongoing projects like her children’s book" is "concerning" to Buckingham Palace.

“As a full-time member of the Royal Family, it would be the expectation for that type of work to be exclusively handled by Palace staff who balance individual desire over what’s right for the wider institution," the insider revealed. "It is clear she is wanting to keep surrounding herself with her Hollywood people. That wasn’t the expectation."

Despite Markle's rumored choice to forego help from Palace staff, a spokesperson for the Palace said, "As has been previously reported, Rick, Andrew, and Nick have been legal, financial and business advisers to the Duchess for many years during her career in the US, and remain friends."
