  • Angela Levin appears on GB News and talked about the rumored rivalry between the Sussexes and Waleses
  • Levin felt that Prince Harry and Markle were jealous of Kate Middleton because the latter looks stunning at anything she wears
  • The biographer speculated that Prince Harry and Markle brought along their own photographer and act in front of the camera

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are "jealous" of Kate Middleton and Prince William, a royal expert has claimed.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were in Boston, Massachusetts, last week for the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony. On Friday, the last day of their U.S. trip, Prince William met President Joe Biden, as well as the late John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy's daughter, Caroline Kennedy, who is also the U.S. ambassador to Australia.

A day before the Earthshot Prize ceremony was held, Netflix dropped the first trailer for Prince Harry and Markle's highly anticipated docuseries, which included a stern-looking photo of Middleton and a clip of Markle wiping away tears.

Angela Levin, the author of "Harry: A Biography of a Prince," weighed in on the "very difficult" week for the new generation of the British royal family during an appearance on GB News.

"One's got to beat the other one, and I think that it looks really upsetting that it should come to this," Levin said on the show of the alleged feud between the Sussexes and the Waleses. "I'm sure that Harry and Meghan are very jealous, particularly of Catherine, because she looks stunning in anything she wears. If you saw her last night in this green dress, and going along with feeling that it's looking after the planet, she had rented it."

For Friday night's awards ceremony, Middleton channeled Princess Diana in an off-the-shoulder Solace London "Sabina" dress that she rented from rental platform Hurr and her late mother-in-law's iconic emerald-and-diamond choker necklace.

"She looks stunning in it, and you think, well done, whereas the American doesn't quite get it right. ... Dresses are not the important part of it, but I think Meghan's always got to win. Whatever she's doing, she's got to win," Levin claimed.

Commenting on the timing of the release of Prince Harry and Markle's Netflix promo, the royal biographer claimed that it was a sign of "jealousy" and was a "vicious" move.

CNN reported that it's "an unwritten rule that working royals don't distract from one another's trips." However, the outlet noted that Prince Harry is no longer a working member of the British royal family and thus has no obligation to follow those rules. It is also unclear if the Sussexes had any say over when the Netflix trailer would be released.

In the 50-second trailer for "Harry & Meghan," released Thursday, docuseries director Liz Garbus can be heard asking, "Why did you want to make this documentary?"

"No one knows what's happening behind closed doors," Prince Harry responded in the clip. "I had to do everything I could to protect my family."

After sharing an array of romantic photos of the couple and shots from their time as working members of the royal family, Markle asked in the trailer: "When the stakes are this high, doesn't it make more sense to hear our story from us?"

The six-episode project will include "commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed, and historians who discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family's relationship with the press," according to Netflix's blurb for the show that was obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

"The series does more than illuminate one couple's love story, it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other," the press release stated.

"Harry & Meghan" is reportedly expected to premiere on Netflix Thursday.
