Despite rumors of an ongoing feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, royal experts believe the former “Suits” star may look to Prince William’s wife when it comes to raising her child in the royal spotlight.

When Meghan gives birth to the royal baby, the child will become seventh in line to the throne. Seeing as the baby has a small chance of reigning, commentators believe Meghan will follow Kate’s parenting style and will try to give the child a normal upbringing.

Royal expert Emma Forbes told People she believes Meghan will try to live a quiet life like Kate, once her baby is born. “I think she will try to be quite low-key about it. Whether she’ll be able to do that is another thing entirely,” she revealed.

Meanwhile, Richard Fitzwilliams told Express UK that Meghan’s new residence at Windsor will give her and Prince Harry’s child the type of privacy Kate and Prince William can’t give their kids.

“Meghan will be based at Frogmore House on the Windsor estate where she should have the privacy she needs,” he explained.

However, since Kate is the future Queen Consort, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis won’t have as much privacy as Meghan’s child.

“Interest in Meghan’s child or children will obviously be seismic as she is our first American princess and her children will have both royal and slave ancestors,” Foster said.

Other than royal obligations and sharing photos with the press, Kate has kept her children out of the spotlight. As Meghan’s due date approaches, it appears the Duchess of Sussex has already taken certain measures to make sure her baby has a normal life.

However, if she wants to successfully carry out her plans, Meghan may need to consider following more of Kate’s parenting methods.
