It appears that Meghan Markle has babies on the brain again, as a new report states the Duchess of Sussex is ready to have a second child with her husband, Prince Harry.

“Now that they’re comfortable in their new home and everything else in their lives is locked in and going well, Meghan’s told Harry it’s baby time,” a source told Us Weekly. “She’s ready to be a mom again and can’t wait to start the process!”

The news comes after the couple finally settled in their new $14M home in Montecito, a wealthy area of Santa Barbara, California, where they hoped to find more privacy than they had at the $15 million Tyler Perry-owned mansion in the Beverly Ridge Estate area that they had been staying in. Now that they have settled in and grown accustomed to their new life away from the royal family and in what should be a more private setting, Meghan, 39, reportedly feels the timing is right to give Archie, 15 months, a sibling.

“Meghan wanted them to find their footing with Archie first, and also get the big move out of the way and know where they were going career-wise,” the source said. “Once all that was in place, she gave Harry the go-ahead.”

This isn’t the first time the Duchess has been reported to be thinking about a second child since moving to Los Angeles. Back in April, reports stated that she was eager to give her son a “little buddy” to play with besides their dogs.

Should they have a second child, the source says it would be a step for the couple that they’re happy to take as they continue embarking on their new life together.

“Meghan loves being a mom, and seeing how happy and complete Harry is with Archie by his side is richly rewarding for her,” the source said. “Meghan’s confident a second child will be perfectly manageable on a practical level and will bring them even more love and joy. She and Harry are both really excited for the next phase of their family journey.”
