On Wednesday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took to their Sussex Royal Instagram account to reveal that they would be stepping back from their royal roles. Following their big announcement, many royal fans began to wonder how that new decision would affect not only the Duke and Duchess of Sussex but also their son, Archie Harrison.

According to the Daily Mail, they will now be tasked with the "difficult decision" of where Archie should attend school. As stated by an education expert, traditional grade-focused British schools, bilingual schools in Canada, and hiring private tutors are all viable options for the Sussexes.

Per the outlet, choosing to allow Archie to go to school in Canada would "mark a departure" from tradition, as the British royal family has a history of attending public schools.

However, choosing to go for a school that is rooted in one location would likely prove to create a new difficulty down the road in terms of being able to frequently travel as a family abroad.

Education expert Edward Williams spoke to the publication about other potential issues that could arise for Meghan and Harry regarding their son's future education, noting that Archie would likely "struggle to co-exist in the two very different structures" if they chose two separate schools in the UK and Canada.

The Duke and Duchess' new revelation regarding their roles within the royal family came after they ended their six-week break from royal duties. During that time, Prince Harry not only reportedly "horrified" Meghan by making a specific suggestion, but they also surprised some fans due to a specific step they took.
