  • Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were associated with the Meghan Online website

  • Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not launched their new website

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s fans were recently tricked into believing that the royal couple now has a new website.

The Meghan Online website claims to be the royal couple’s presence on the Internet. However, the site doesn’t really have any connection with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

It is important to note that the website didn’t intentionally dupe Prince Harry and Markle’s fans. Rather, they simply assumed that the website had links to the royal couple because of its name.

While speaking with The Sun, a representative for the Meghan Online attempted to clear their name.

“We have taken great care to make it clear on the site, also in our website terms and conditions, that we are a site owned privately, with no official affiliation or commercial agreements, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” the representative said.

Meghan Online is a store that will begin selling royal memorabilia this month. They also promise to send out a monthly newsletter, a podcast, and a social media app where subscribers will be able to stream live video messages.

“You will also be invited to take part in special events, including an opportunity to travel to London and visit the famous Windsor Castle. Of course, everyone will still be able to access all information concerning the important charitable work and organizations benefitting from Harry and Meghan's work. You will be invited to donate directly to one of their chosen charities,” the website said.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle made headlines this week after it was revealed that they won’t be bringing their son, Archie, back to the United Kingdom.

According to The Sunday Times, Queen Elizabeth is sad that she wouldn’t get to see her great-grandson when Prince Harry and Markle attend their last few royal engagements. Her Majesty has only seen Archie a few times since his birth on May 6.
