A new candid photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is receiving praise online.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's photographer pal, Misan Harriman, dropped another picture of the couple from the One Young World Summit, which the royals attended in Manchester, England, on Sept. 5.

The snap shared via Instagram over the weekend captured Prince Harry and Markle smiling as they hold hands backstage at the event. The lighthearted moment between the pair was seemingly taken just before Markle took the stage to give a speech.

"A joyous moment with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex," Harriman wrote in the caption.

Social media users and royal fans gushed over Markle and Prince Harry's sweet moment.

"Beautiful," Dr. Hogg commented. Another wrote, "I love these two."

"Love Harry's gaze at his wife!" a third user added.

"They look amazing," a different fan wrote.

"Stunning capture of beauty, love and admiration!!" another commented.

Earlier this month, Harriman also released two formal photos of the couple backstage at the summit.

One shot showed Markle looking directly at the camera while linking her finger with Prince Harry's, who is giving the camera a slight smile.

Another portrait, shared in black and white, showed the couple from the side as they prepare to take the stage. They are holding hands, with their fingers intertwined.

The timing of the photos' release raised some eyebrows as it came two days after Buckingham Palace unveiled a portrait of the so-called new "Fab Four" — King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Kate Middleton and Prince William. The moniker was previously used to refer to Prince Harry, Markle, Prince William and Middleton before the Sussexes stepped back from royal duties and moved to California.

Speculations surfaced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were competing with the royal family because the photo of the senior royals was taken on the eve of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral during a palace reception for world leaders that Prince Harry and Markle were reportedly uninvited from.

"It's all in the timing, isn't it? It does sort of have a sense of 'anything you can do we can do too,'" royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight after Harriman released the Sussexes' photos. "It was quite polarizing, because you had, just two days before, that incredible image of the king and the Queen consort, and the new Prince and Princess of Wales."

She continued, "It said, 'This is the future of the monarchy.' Of course, so notable by their absence, [were] Harry and Meghan. So it didn't surprise me to see an image of them so soon after. But it was a pretty bold move, as sort of a reminder that actually there is this alternative royal court across the pond."

Nicholl noted that the pictures of Prince Harry and Markle were not new and were taken weeks prior when the couple was still in Manchester.

"This is clearly the Sussexes just making a point," she claimed. "We're visible we're bold and we're not going anywhere... we're doing 'royal' a different way."
