Meghan Markle may be annoyed and furious over the latest scam involving her capsule collection.

The Duchess of Sussex recently released a range of clothes after partnering with Marks & Spencer, Jigsaw, and John Lewis to raise money for Smart Works. The charity helps disadvantaged women to find jobs.

During a recent discussion, royal commentator Lorraine Kelly said that it must be upsetting for Prince Harry’s wife to be a victim of an ongoing scam on eBay. Some people purchased items from her range and are now selling it on the platform for seven times its original price.

Meghan's clothing line is doing incredibly well but it has caused just a little bit of a hoo-ha. It is not her fault obviously, nothing to do with her,” she said.

Royal commentator Russell Myers echoed Kelly’s statement. He said that he feels massively for the Duchess of Sussex.

“She has had some really bad headlines recently and then this clothing collection came on called the Capsule Collection for Smart Works. It is a charity that helps disadvantaged women get back into the world of work fitting them out with great outfits… And now the collection has been bought from John Lewis, M&S and Jigsaw… People swept to hoover up the items and now they are being sold on eBay for seven times their value… We saw a dress from M&S worth £19.50 being sold for £150,” he said.

Myers added that new stocks will definitely be released in the coming weeks. But even if this is the case, the goal of the capsule collection is to help struggling women and not for other people to take advantage of the opportunity and make money out of it.

Markle serves as the patron for Smart Works. She was also named as the patron for the National Theater, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, and Mayhew. The Duchess of Sussex is passionate about all four charities because they are close to her heart.
