Meghan Markle can turn to Sophie, Countess of Wessex if she wants to have “power and privacy.”

Lorraine Kelly, a columnist for The Sun, shared her thoughts about the Duchess of Sussex following the reports that the Queen will have Sophie work with Markle for her PR. Kelly agreed that Prince Edward’s wife can help Markle.

Kelly said that she had a lot of sympathy for Prince Harry’s wife because she lacked experience in the world inhabited by the royals and courtiers. She believes that Markle wants to be a “force for good” but inevitably makes mistakes along the way.

This is where Sophie, Countess of Wessex could help her. Unlike the other female royals, Sophie seems “dull and insignificant” but she’s working behind the scenes and she “wields a lot of power and influence.”

Kelly believes that Sophie and Markle have a lot of things in common. First, they both had careers before they married the royal family. Second, Sophie worked in PR while Markle was an actress.

Also, just like Markle, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, struggled with her own media backlash. Thus, her advice to the Duchess of Sussex will be even more “valuable.”

The columnist added that if Markle wants “privacy” and “power” she should learn from Sophie.

“Meghan should listen to Sophie, who has built a life as part of the Royal Family, won the Queen’s respect and still has a private life for herself and her children. Proving that it can happily be done,” Kelly wrote.

In related news, according to body language expert Judi James, Markle’s childlike “hand clasp” gestures show “excitement and anticipation.” Markle is probably taking in the “adventure” that her husband, Prince Harry, mentioned on his birthday greetings for her.

“In some instances her hands are positioned a little lower - and more elegant - but when they are held close to the face the ‘awed and thrilled’ look is complete,” James said.

Just recently, Prince Harry and Markle said something that many took as something against Prince William and Kate Middleton. According to Milly Haddrick, Prince Harry’s statement about having only two kids was a “low blow” to his big brother who has three children. Also, Markle’s statement that it’s “boastful” to appear on a magazine cover is said to be a dig at Middleton who graced Vogue’s cover in 2016.
