Meghan Markle will not follow Kate Middleton’s choices when she delivers her baby.

According to royal commentator Victoria Arbiter, the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex have already put the rumors about their beef “behind them.” However, this doesn’t mean that Markle will follow Middleton’s choices in delivering her baby because she will likely do it her own way to avoid any further comparison.

“With royal wives, it is a given that their lives are always going to be compared so anytime they can do something differently to stand alone and not deal with those comparisons, that seems quite sensible to me,” Arbiter said on “Today.”

The palace has not confirmed where Markle will give birth but previous reports claimed that she snubbed St. Mary’s Hospital where Princess Diana and Middleton gave birth to their babies.

Arbiter explained that Markle’s choice of not delivering her child in the said facility is not actually to snub Middleton. Instead, it’s more about the distance because, by the time the Duchess of Sussex is due to give birth, she and Prince Harry have already moved to Frogmore House in Windsor.

“Diana and Kate, they delivered their babies at the Lindo Wing partly because the hospital is a good five-minute or so drive from Kensington Palace where they were living,” Arbiter explained.

“I don’t think any first-time mother wants to have the thought of a 20 or 25-minute drive to the hospital when they’re expecting their baby.”

Arbiter believes that if Markle would choose a hospital closer to Windsor it’s been done on the advice of her doctors.

Aside from giving birth in a different facility, Markle might skip the traditional baby photo shoot outside the hospital. Also, the soon-to-be mom reportedly doesn’t want to be pressured to look “immaculate” just hours after her delivery unlike the Duchess of Cambridge.

Middleton’s “pristine” look following Prince Louis’ birth gained mixed reactions from the public. Some were pleased with how quickly she recovered, but others slammed the duchess for sending “unrealistic message” to new moms. According to Meshel Laurie, Middleton pressured new moms to look as good after giving birth.
