Meghan Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle, recently denied that the Duchess of Sussex asked him to rot in hell before hanging up the phone.

Mike Parker, a journalist for Express, claimed that the 74-year-old former lighting director spoke with one of his friends regarding the fake news and said that it was a lie.

“Meghan would never, ever talk like that to me in a million years… I will always love my daughter and I know she loves me too – whatever happens,” he told his friend.

Thomas is reportedly convinced that the people surrounding Markle are trying to shield her from her American family by deliberately planting fake news stories to discredit her dad and half-siblings.

As of late, the “Suits” alum has not yet spoken to her dad. However, Markle previously wrote a letter to Thomas, where she told him that her dad broke her heart into a million pieces.

Thomas decided to make the letter public because he was convinced that the contents of the handwritten note did not come from his daughter.

Meanwhile, Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., said that he thinks the relationship between the royal and their dad is already beyond repair.

“The relationship is beyond repair and it’s so sad to see. Both of them have to shoulder the responsibility of how a once very loving father-daughter relationship is now so bad it is irretrievable,” he told Mirror.

Despite Thomas Jr.’s claims that the relationship between his dad and half-sister is beyond repair, Thomas Sr. still has not given up that things would go back to how they were again. He told his friend that his goal at the moment is to reconcile with his daughter.

Thomas also wants to make sure that he will be a part of his grandchild’s life. Markle is scheduled to give birth sometime at the end of April and the beginning of May.
