Meghan Markle is, undeniably, one of the most popular members of the Royal family. In fact, even if she is currently on a temporary hiatus from her Royal duties, the Duchess of Sussex, along with Prince Harry, continues to make it to the headlines. Recently, reports are claiming that Buckingham Palace warned one of Meghan’s close pals for sharing “damaging” photos of the former “Suits” actress.

American jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, reportedly, shared 12 snaps of Meghan Markle on her Instagram page. Attached to each of the photos were links that lead the netizens to her website called Jennifer Meyer Jewelry. Jennifer, allegedly, used the Duchess’ popularity and influence to advertise her products.

Though Meghan, apparently, did not have any issue about it, reports have it that some Buckingham Palace officials were enraged and told Jenner to remove the photos of Prince Harry’s wife from her website and Instagram page immediately. It claimed that Jennifer’s company had broken a legal agreement not to share or use Meghan’s photographs for the promotion of her “pricey” products.

“Jennifer Meyer has been told to remove the images and in no uncertain terms how damaging this could be for Meghan and the Royal Family,” a source told Daily Mirror. The California-based jewelry designer has yet to comment on these claims.

PageSix shared that Jennifer agreed to follow the same rules as all designers who dress all of the members of the royal family. “Simply put, this means they can’t brag about working for the royals, they can’t advertise their association with them,” another royal insider told the entertainment news publication. “Jennifer’s team didn’t understand that members of the royal family cannot be used in advertising. They happily removed the links. I can only imagine Jennifer must be mortified,” a third tipster said.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are said to be staying in the United States through Christmas. No details about the Sussex couple’s recent travel to America have been made public as of yet. However, rumors are rife that they might be somewhere Los Angeles – near the Duchess’ mom, Doria Ragland.

Royal correspondent Omid Scobie, previously, claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated Thanksgiving with close relatives. "The Sussexes are away, they’re on their break right up until Christmas," Omid said on his podcast. "It’s a long-time trip that they’re on, I think we are really going to see them away until Christmas as far as I’m aware, which is good for them," he went on.

To recall, reports about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s six-week break came just days after their controversial ITV interview was aired. The couple revealed, during their trip to Africa, the pressures of being part of the Royal family.

"I would say, look, any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable and so that was made really challenging. And then when you have a newborn, you know? And especially as a woman, it’s really, it’s a lot,” Meghan Markle said. "So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed, it’s um... yeah,” she continued.
