Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha, has strong words for Prince Harry on his 34th birthday.

On her Twitter account, the book author posted a photo of a red-haired hamster, which was her way of comparing Prince Harry to the animal. The hamster is also eating a small cake and wearing a birthday hat, which can only mean it was also about the prince’s birthday.

“Happy Birthday Harry! As you ‘Mack down’ on your birthday cake, think about the birthday wishes you never extended to your father-in-law,” she captioned the post (via Daily Mail).

Samantha was referring to her and Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle Sr., who turned 74 on July 18. That time, Samantha and Thomas revealed that he didn’t receive a greeting from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Thomas last spoke to his daughter before she wed Prince Harry on May 19.

Samantha has also released a plea addressed to Prince Harry and Markle begging them to bury the hatchet amid their ongoing family drama.

"Harry, how old do you have to get before you realize it's time to bury the hatchet and be a gentleman an extend an olive branch to our dad. A birthday is a time to reflect on life and what is really important. Seize the moment to do the right thing," she said (via Daily Star).

Samantha went on to talk about Prince William and Kate Middleton's children. She said that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will soon read about all of the feuds in the newspapers and online.

"Kids will be looking for their mom and dad for guidance on how to treat others," she added.

As of late, Prince Harry and Markle have not responded to any of Samantha and Thomas’ tweets and interviews. As members of the royal family, they are not allowed to comment on such matters. However, there is always an exception to the rule.

When Prince Harry and Markle started dating, multiple publications criticized the former actress for being biracial. Prince Harry released a statement via the Kensington Palace urging all media outlets to stop writing hurtful stories about his then-girlfriend.

“He has asked for this statement to be issued in the hopes that those in the press who have been driving this story can pause and reflect before any further damage is done,” the statement read.
