Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump are enjoying life after leaving the White House, a report says.

The Trump family relocated to Florida after leaving Washington, D.C., in January, with Melania and her husband, former President Donald Trump, now residing in his private club Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. Nowadays, Melania does what she wants when she wants and does not feel the need to conform to the "norms of conventional post-first lady duties," CNN reported, citing unnamed sources familiar with her activities.

While she has since established her own official office, Melania has not done other activities former first ladies usually do after their departure from the White House, such as making official appearances and writing memoirs, the outlet noted.

"She's not a presence at Mar-a-Lago at all. She's not mingling with people and rarely interacts with her husband's staff," an anonymous person "close" to Melania and her husband told CNN.

Instead, Melania can usually be seen making regular visits to the Mar-a-Lago spa and spending time with her 15-year-old son, Barron, a source told the outlet.

The former first lady also appeared "happy and relaxed" when she was spotted enjoying dinner in the dining room of the club, according to three unnamed sources familiar with her dinnertime appearances. The insiders said Melania smiles and waves to the other dinner patrons when they applaud her and her husband upon their arrival.

According to the sources, Melania is often joined by her parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, who have their own personal suite in the club and usually spend weeks at a time in Florida.

Melania was last photographed earlier this month when she and her husband had dined at one of the restaurants in Mar-a-Lago. They were seen having dinner at a round table outdoors, but there was a red velvet security rope separating them from the rest of the guests.

But while Melania has made few public appearances, she has been actively posting on social media since February following the launch of her office. In her most recent post on Twitter, the former first lady thanked everyone who remembered her on her 51st birthday on Monday.

Meanwhile, Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, who purchased a $30 million waterfront lot on Indian Creek in Miami-Dade County, Florida, in December, are currently renting a luxury condo in Miami while they wait for their permanent home to be built.

Ivanka has remained relatively silent on social media until she shared a photo of herself receiving a COVID-19 vaccine this month. However, she and Kushner have been spotted out and about in the city, including enjoying golf sessions and heading to the beach with their kids.

"She wants to spend as much time as she can with her family after a few very busy years," an unnamed source "familiar" with her life post-White House told CNN of Ivanka, adding that she continues to be a "hands-on mom."
