Melania Trump and Donald Trump made Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles wait for an hour before they arrived at Clarence House for tea.

During his appearance on “Lorraine,” royal expert Russell Myers said that the FLOTUS and the president of the United States may face huge protests from the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall after they made the royal couple wait for 60 minutes.

“That’s certainly a bad house guest, Mr. Trump,” he said.

But photos of the Trumps with the royal couple reveal that Prince Charles and Camilla didn’t really mind their late arrival. The FLOTUS even surprisingly greeted the future queen with a kiss on the cheek, and Camilla reciprocated the gesture.

Prince Charles shook hands with the POTUS, and all four heads of state posed for a photo inside Clarence House. America’s first lady shared a photo with Prince Charles and Camilla on her Instagram account, where she thanked them for the conversation and the friendship.

Ahead of the meeting, the Trumps also made headlines after they were forced to wait in the freezing cold for a few minutes before they went inside No. 10 Downing Street. The couple met up with Prime Minister Boris Johnson first before having tea with the royals.

British journalist Robert Peston took his thoughts to Twitter by saying that POTUS must have not been thrilled for having to wait in the freezing cold weather.

Meanwhile, the FLOTUS also made headlines this week after she unleashed her rage on social media after her 13-year-old son Barron Trump’s name was used in an impeachment inquiry.

“The constitution says there can be no titles of nobility. So, while the president can name his son Barron, he can’t make him a Barron,” Pamela S. Karlan of Stanford Law School said. Her comments were met with laughter from the room.

“A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it,” the FLOTUS tweeted.
