Melania Trump and Donald Trump’s relationship has changed in recent years.

In the past, photos of the couple showed them being playful and loving towards each other. But after President Trump entered the White House, the couple has become quite distant.

President Trump misspelling his wife’s name on Twitter didn’t help in convincing the public that the couple’s relationship is going well. In his previous post, the POTUS spelled the FLOTUS’ name as Melanie instead of Melania.

According to Cheat Sheet, President Trump also refused to give the public update regarding his wife’s health. As such, the FLOTUS was forced to assure the public that she was fine after undergoing a procedure.

“I see the media is working overtime and speculating where I am and what I’m doing. Rest assured, I’m here at the White House with my family, feeling great and working hard on behalf of children and the American people!” Melania tweeted.

But it is the first lady’s so-called promise to her husband that led the public to think that their marriage is no longer what it was like before. An insider told InTouch Weekly that the FLOTUS could no longer take back the promise that she made to Trump.

“This is not the life she wants, plain and simple. She promised Donald she would stay married to him as long as he was president [but] the last thing she ever expected was for Donald to become president of the United States,” the source said.

But at the end of the day, it is important to take these claims with a grain of salt because they are nothing but mere speculation. Even though President Trump has been divorced twice, there are no obvious signs that he and his third wife are on the brink of ending their marriage.

It is possible that just like Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Trumps just don’t engage in public displays of affection because of their important roles.

Still, they made sure to have some lavish touches to their affair, including a $100,000 custom Dior gown for the bride, which weighed 60 pounds, was embroidered with 1,500 rhinestones and pearls, and featured a 13-foot train.
