Melania Trump slyly snubs Michelle Obama and the ex-FLOTUS does the same to President Donald Trump.

The first lady took over the @FLOTUS account from Michelle when Trump was inaugurated in 2017. Melania’s spokeswoman told Vanity Fair that she’s tweeting from the official FLOTUS Twitter account once Trump is sworn.

“Once President-elect Trump is sworn in, incoming First Lady Melania Trump will tweet from @FLOTUS,” the spokesperson said. “She is thankful for Mrs. Obama and all of her followers and looks forward to connecting with them, while welcoming new followers and speaking directly with the American people through social media.”

However, Express noted that the FLOTUS account now being used by Melania does not follow Michelle. However, she follows the account of Barack Obama, Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Second Lady Karen Pence, White House History and the White House.

Michelle did the same but not to Melania. The former first lady still follows the current FLOTUS despite their differences. However, she does not follow Trump. And yet she follows Trump’s main rival Joe Biden.

The FLOTUS account had 6.5 million followers when Michelle was still handling it. After Melania took over the account, its following has grown to over 13 million.

Meanwhile, Michelle allegedly threw shade at Melania to sell books. When the ex-FLOTUS appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s show, she was asked about Trump’s inauguration in January 2017 and to many’s surprise, Michelle interrupted and said, “Bye, Felicia!” that prompted the audience and the host to laugh. However, Piers Morgan believed that the FLOTUS may have winced in “anger and frustration” when she saw it.

Aside from the slur, Michelle crunched her face into “an expression of withering theatrical bemusement” when Melania’s gift to Michelle was mentioned. The FLOTUS was seen handing the ex-FLOTUS a Tiffany box outside the White House when they faced each other for Trump’s inauguration.

“Just when I thought there was one person in public life that soared effortlessly and admirably above the incessantly ugly partisan trash-talk that pervades every second of American airspace these days, Mrs Obama has let me down. And frankly, she has let herself down too,” Piers said of Michelle.
