Melania Trump shared a message on social media to celebrate the Fourth of July, but it received mixed reactions from Twitter users.

The First Lady celebrated the country’s Independence Day on Saturday (July 4) by sharing a message on social media. In her post, Melania also mentioned the signing of Declaration of Independence with her husband, President Donald Trump.

“Wishing all American's a happy and safe #4thofJuly! Looking forward to celebrating the birth of our great Nation & the signing of the Declaration of Independence with @POTUS at the @WhiteHouse this evening!” she wrote on Twitter with the U.S. flag emoji.

However, the FLOTUS’ message was once again met with criticisms. Several slammed the First Lady and many said they would not celebrate Independence Day until they are free from the Trumps.

“I will NOT be celebrating. There is NOTHING to be happy about - NOTHING to be proud about. Your ‘husband’ has RUINED this country. I am ASHAMED to be an American. Hopefully SANE Americans will celebrate a HAPPY NOVEMBER 4th when the Trump regime is just a distant, bad memory,” one commented.

“It’s NOT your nation. And due to your husband, it’s not that great anymore,” @buppers1954 wrote.

“Happy #July4th. This time next year America will be celebrating its liberation from Donald Trump!!” another added.

“We will declare our independence on November 3. wishing you would disappear,” a different netizen wrote.

Although many attacked Melania for her post, many people also showed their support to the First Lady. Several online users even thanked the FLOTUS for her effort in helping the POTUS while they are in the White House.

“You are a wonderful FLOTUS! You are elegant, graceful, and wise! You represent our country’s finest to ever live in the White House,” @g_cindyvstewart wrote. “Thank you for enduring the negative garbage that is often thrown your way. Your resolve and strength are apparent and I personally ‘thank’ you!”

“Thanks First Lady!” @MatthewJshow added.

“We love Melania!!!” @Shem_Infinite tweeted.
