When Miley Cyrus flew to England for the Glastonbury Music Festival last month with her family members, she had a scary experience in the flight. The “Wrecking Ball” singer’s sister shared some details about that “terrifying” experience recently.

Miley’s sister Brandi Cyrus spoke about the incident in a podcast with Wells Adams. The two of them were discussing about the “Bachelorette” TV series and about the Delta pilot Pete Weber when Brandi recalled her experience last month.

Brandi was there on the flight with her sister Miley and their mother Tish. Her sister’s manager Adam Leber was also there with them. All three of Brandi’s companions on the flight are nervous flyers, and they started to feel anxious when the flight got “a little bumpy,” and then things got worse.

Just when the plane was about to land, they got back into the air suddenly. The passengers were thrown back and then to the left in their seats. Miley was reportedly in her sister’s lap and their mother was holding Brandi’s hand from across the aisle.

Miley and her mother were apparently “losing their mind” wondering what was happening. Brandi was a little nervous herself, but she decided that she had to be “level-headed” for the group.

The flight crew later announced that the reason why they had to get back into the air was because there was another plane in their lane. When the plane tried to land a second time again there was another plane in their lane, forcing them to fly back up.

Tish reportedly started crying and started to wonder if they were all going to die that day. She also thought about her youngest daughter Noah, who would be left alone if they were to die on the plane.

The scary incident happened because there were many flights that were flying into the airport that day. Most of the people were there for the Glastonbury Music Festival.

Miley recently admitted on Twitter that she has a fear of flying. However, she was able to conquer her fear, which allows her to travel across the globe to perform for her fans.

Despite the scary experience, Miley was able to entertain her fans at the Glastonbury Festival. The singer also shared pictures of her performance with the fans on Instagram.
