Rapper Theophilus London has been found safe, a relative announced Wednesday. London's family and friends had filed a missing person's report last week, alleging that he had been missing for months.

"We have found Theo. He is safe and well," the rapper's cousin, Mikhail Noel, posted on Instagram. "At this time the family would love prayers and privacy. Thank you all!!!"

"Truly appreciate everyone's support in finding my cousin," he added. "It's refreshing and rewarding to have such a strong support system of family and friends!!! God bless each and everyone of you all."

London's cousin, Mikhail Noel, shares the news that the rapper had been found.

The post omitted the rapper's whereabouts and well-being, as well as why he had not contacted his family. Friends and family of London began to spread the word that they had lost contact with the rapper in October. An LAPD news release on Dec. 28 said London was last seen in the Skid Row neighborhood the same month.

London's family and friends believed the last time someone had spoken with him was in July, which coincides with his last post on Instagram, where he posted often.

For weeks, the group leading the search for London had asked for the public's help, urging social media users to share his image and presumed location and reach out to them with any tips.

London, 35, is best known for his involvement in Kanye West's "Donda" album. He earned two Grammy nominations for his work on the song "All Day," which was also up for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. The rapper was born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in the Brooklyn borough of New York.
