“Modern Family” star Aubrey Anderson-Emmons may just be 10 years old, but already she’s making an impact in the world.

Just recently, an awkward photo of the actress was uploaded on her Instagram account. In snap, Anderson-Emmons was in tears when she met her idol, Lin-Manuel Miranda. The caption stated that every awkward photo posted using the hashtag “puberme” will be used to raise money to help the victims of the recent hurricane in Puerto Rico.

Other celebrities who participated in Stephen Colbert and Nick Kroll’s Awkward Photo Campaign call for help included “Gossip Girl” alum Michelle Trachtenberg, “Dawson’s Creek” actor James Van Der Beek, “Love” star Gillian Jacobs and more.

Colbert’s AmeriCone Dream Fund has offered to donate $1000 for every awkward photo posted by a celebrity via Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #puberme and #PuertoRicoRelief.

Meanwhile, Anderson-Emmons plays the role of Lily in the hit ABC TV series, “Modern Family,” which is currently on its ninth season. On Wednesday, the show premiered, and even though Lily did not have much screen time, the character was seen spending time with her cousin, Joe (Jeremy Maguire). The two also bonded with the rest of the Dunphy-Pritchett clan.

In episode 2, titled “The Long Goodbye,” Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) will realize that their second daughter, Alex (Ariel Winter), may be more self-sufficient in college than they thought. Manny (Rico Rodriguez) is also heading to college, and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) and Jay (Ed O’Neill) will be taking him to his dorm. Elsewhere, Haley (Sarah Hyland), Phil and Claire’s eldest daughter, will receive an opportunity that she won’t be able to resist.

The series, which has been picked up for two seasons, garnered a total of 6.9 million viewers and a 2.1 demo rating. These figures are 20 percent down from last year’s premiere episode, according to Variety. “Modern Family” Season 9 also stars Luke (Nolan Gould), Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson).

“Modern Family” Season 9 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
