When viewers tuned into “My 600-LB Life” Season 8 on Wednesday night, they met 22-year-old, Seana Collins. At the beginning of the episode, Seana weighed around 660 pounds. According to a Facebook update, it appears Seana may be struggling to reach a healthier weight.

During her episode, Seana revealed she was mentally and physically abused by her father from an early age. As a result, Seana turned to food for comfort. Unfortunately, the habit became addicting, and by the age of 16, she weighed 400 pounds.

Due to her weight, Seana dropped out of school and became depressed. At one point, her mother committed her to a mental hospital, but it did little to solve her problems. Later on, Seana allowed a man she met online to move into her home and became addicted to meth.

Seana eventually realized she needed to change her ways and lose weight if she wanted to stay alive. However, when the “My 600-LB Life” subject arrived in Houston to join Dr. Nowzaradan’s weight loss program, she failed to meet her goals.

After she was given the task to lose 40 pounds in two months, Seana skipped her appointment. When she finally rescheduled, the scale revealed that she only lost one pound. Although she briefly managed to drop 35 pounds, she gained a majority of the weight back.

By the end of the episode, Dr. Now is unhappy with Seana’s lack of progress and kicks her out of his weight loss program.

“You don’t have any support from your family ... you have depression, anxiety and multiple issues you need to take care of,” he tells Seana.

“I know it’s very hard when you are alone, but you need to decide if you want to change your situation and live, or if you want to continue on this path you are on. Until you decide to start making the changes you need, we are out of options with nowhere to go,” he added.

Despite his decision, the surgeon did offer Seana another chance to prove she would be a good candidate for the surgery. Dr. Now told Seana if she lost 50 pounds on her own, he would accept her back into his weight loss program and work with her.

Although Seana revealed that she began taking water aerobics it is unclear whether she has lost enough weight to receive Dr. Now’s help.

On Wednesday, Reality Blurb shared photos from Seana’s personal Facebook page. However, the photos were from September 2019 and only showed her face, rather than a full-body photo.

“My 600-LB Life” Season 8 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
