After a one-week break, "My Hero Academia" returns with a new chapter featuring the deadly Gigantomachia. Chapter 278 will see a battle between Mt. Lady and Gigantomachia.

The new chapter is a few days away from its release, but the latest spoilers are out. Twitter user isla translated "My Hero Academia" Chapter 278 panels shared by Shinobu.

"My Hero Academia" Chapter 278 kick starts with Jiro taking her earbuds out of the ground. She has sensed the arrival of something big. Jiro tells other students and heroes that something is heading their way.

The Pro Heroes get on their communication device and inform others that the interns are on standby.

In the meantime, Gigantomachia is seen dragging Mt. Lady on his back. Mt. Lady is tied up and looks worn out. In the last chapter’s final panel, Gigantomachia and Mt. Lady prepare to battle. It appears that Gigantomachia will have an upper hand in the upcoming chapter.

As Gigantomachia continues to drag her, Jiro informs the heroes the giant villain is slowing down. Mt. Lady is trying her best to stop Gigantomachia from reaching the spot where Class 1-A students are present.

Mezo Shoji, a Class 1-A student, alerts others the thing that is heading their way is bigger than Mt. Lady. Meanwhile, Momo Yaoyorozu, the vice-president of Class 1-A, instructs her classmates to get in position and be ready to launch an attack.

Elsewhere, in chapter 278, Midnight is in the forest and looks badly wounded. It is speculated that she is injured after a battle with Atsuhiro Sako or Mr. Compress.

"My Hero Academia" will get the cover and lead color page in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine’s Issue #35 to celebrate the sixth anniversary and the ongoing Paranormal Liberation War Arc, Twitter user WSJ_manga shared.

Chapter 278 is scheduled to release Sunday, July 19. Readers can get the digital version of the chapter on Manga Plus and Viz. The print version will be available on the stands from Monday, July 20.
